While a basic DJfindr profile is entirely free to create, upgrading your account unlocks powerful booking tools, custom PayLinks, and priority ranking in organic local search results. Managing Your Plan To view or manage your current subscription level: 1. Navigate to Settings > Plan & Billing on your DJ dashboard. 2. Here, you can review the specific features active on your current tier. 3. Click Upgrade Plan to elevate your account. Modifying Billing Details From the Plan & Billing tab, you can manage the credit card ensuring your subscription remains active. 1. Click Manage Subscription. 2. You will be routed to a secure Stripe Billing portal. 3. Here, you can securely download PDF copies of your past monthly or annual invoices, update your debit/credit card on file, or change your billing address for tax purposes.

Account and Notifications [Guide]

The Settings panel is where you configure your core DJfindr experience. General Account Details Navigate to Settings > Account on your dashboard sidebar. Here you'll find options to control: - Your Legal Name and associated phone numbers. - Your primary contact email address. - Your account password updates. - Connected Authentication methods (e.g., Disconnecting Google Sign-in if you decide to use Email/Password instead). Notification Preferences In the Account Settings pane under the "Notifications" tab, you can actively toggle exactly what kinds of alerts DJfindr is permitted to send you. We highly recommend leaving both "Email" and "In-App" switched ON for critical triggers like New Event Proposals and Direct Messages. If you'd like to opt out of the DJfindr marketing newsletter, you can uncheck the promotion toggle here. Managing Integrations Navigate to Settings > Integrations. This is your central hub for connecting external applications. Currently, you can securely connect: - SoundCloud: Automatically syndicating your uploaded music mixes. - Google / Apple Calendar: Establishing two-way parity with your daily schedule to prevent double-booking.

Setting Up Your DJ Profile [Guide]

Your DJfindr profile is your storefront. A complete, compelling profile gets you more views and more bookings. Here's how to set it up right. Step 1 — Add Your Basic Info Navigate to Profile → Edit Profile in your dashboard. Make sure to fill in: - Display name — Use your DJ name, not your legal name. - Bio — 2–3 sentences. Mention your style, experience, and specialities. - Service Area — Set a radius around your base city. You can expand it later. - Genres — Tag your primary genres. Be specific (House → Tech House, not just House). Step 2 — Upload a Profile Photo A high-quality headshot or live performance shot performs significantly better than a logo. Requirements: - Minimum 500×500px, square crop preferred - JPEG or PNG, max 5MB Step 3 — Set Your Rates Go to Profile → Rates and set a starting rate. This is the minimum hourly base; you can always negotiate per gig. Tips: - Don't undervalue yourself — the DJfindr median is $150–$250/hr. - Add-on rates for travel, extra equipment, and extended sets can be set separately. Step 4 — Connect Your Stripe Account Payouts are processed through Stripe. Go to Settings → Payouts → Connect Stripe and complete the onboarding flow. You'll need: - Government-issued ID - Bank account and routing number Your first payout is released 7 days after an event is marked complete. Step 5 — Add Mixes & Clips Attach SoundCloud or Mixcloud links under Profile → Media. At least one mix is strongly recommended — profiles with a mix get 3× more views.

When you log into the DJfindr platform, the first thing you'll see is your Dashboard Overview. This acts as your command center, providing a high-level summary of your business performance. The Analytics Cards At the very top of your dashboard, you'll see several key metrics that update in real-time. 1. Total Earnings: This reflects your cumulative payout total over the lifetime of your account. 2. Profile Views: The number of times potential clients have viewed your detailed specific DJ profile page. 3. Inquiries Received: Total number of messages or booking requests received directly from clients. 4. Events Booked: The number of completed or actively scheduled events. Using the Sidebar Navigation To the left of your dashboard, you will find essential navigation tabs that route you to different areas of your platform: - Overview: Brings you back to this home summary view. - Inbox: Your unified messaging center for active inquiries. - Calendar & Bookings: Everything regarding your schedule, active proposals, event details, and past client reviews. - Content: Tools to edit your public-facing handle, update cover photos, and manage embedded mixes/live posts. - Finance: Your financial center for payouts, Stripe onboarding, and generating independent PayLinks. - Settings: General account configuration (notifications, subscriptions, etc.).
